The location of this condo is awesome, just a 5 or so minute walk to the mountain. Could walk to nearby restaurants and there was free shuttle to go to and from the mountain or into downtown. This unit was very close to the hot tubs and pool as well. The unit was clean. The only negative I would say is that the condo could use some updating. Would definitely stay there again on our next trip to Steamboat.

The location of the unit is great for accessing the base area/gondola. There are plenty of food options within walking distance and the free shuttle to downtown is also a very nice touch. The unit itself was perfect for our needs as well. The view of the mountain is great too.

We booked the West based on recommendations from Australian owners of different condos. We knew the condo we rented has furnishings and decor that is dated. The positives well outweigh the negatives - hence the 5 stars. The location is closer to the Gondola base than we expected and the view from the condo was better than expected from the website. Kitchen utensils were varied and that enabled us to prepare some good meals. The shuttle to/from town is incredibly convenient. The 3 bedrooms and 3 baths worked very well.
