The decor is very outdated and the paint on the cabinets and walls is cracking. Overall, the unit is in need of some inexpensive cosmetic updates so that the amount we're paying to stay there feels like a decent value. Right now, I definitely feel like I overpaid. The unit was clean and the beds were comfortable, however!

Basic. Not bad. Very small kitchen. Quiet except for traffic noise. Adequate

Great location. Very easy walk to the base area, even in ski boots. Friendly staff. The unit itself is a bit dated, circa 1980’s. The kitchen is very tight, and while well, equipped, lacked some essential basics, like measuring cups and functioning can openers. The extra vanity and sink in the master bedroom was a very nice touch. We would stay there again.

West 3234 was the best Mtn Resort accommodation we've stayed at over the 5 years we've been coming to Steamboat.

The living room, loft, and bedroom were great spaces, and the kitchen was fully equipped and a good size for the space. The main issue we had was the couch in the living room was awful, and the pull out attached to it was less comfortable than sleeping on the floor.

We enjoyed our stay at the west condos . The location to get to the mountain was a short walk on a direct path. The shuttle service offered was very punctual and easy to get us where we wanted to go and of course back to our condo. The accommodations were perfect for our group of 3 but would be great for a party of 4.

We had a wonderful stay at The West. The unit was very nicely decorated, with comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed for cooking. We woke up to a great view of the hot air balloon in the valley! Sunsets were also very beautiful to watch from the balcony. Suggested improvements: upgrade TVs, and better balcony furniture.

The condo was very convenient for ski access, and the excellent VIP shuttle service made downtown access very easy as well. The condo was clean and had everything we needed for our stay.

Stayed here the weekend before Christmas (until the 24th). Location was perfect. 10 minute walk to slopes. Occasionally a shuttle circles the parking lot so one time we got on the shuttle (never thought to ask if there was a regular routine to the shuttle). It didn't matter, the walk from the shuttle drop off to the slopes and the condo to the slopes was about the same. We brought 5 adults. I would not recommend more than that. The upstairs loft was great (the stairs were a little steep so keep seniors on the main floor), the master bedroom was great, the pullout had an awful mattress and you could feel the bar and it sagged, so I would avoid it if possible unless kids use it and probably wouldn't care/notice There was no blanket for the pull out, so we took the quilt off the master bed. (I didn't inquire if there were extra blankets we could borrow, I imagine there probably were). The place was very clean and had everything you needed to cook. The unit had two terry cloth bathrobes for the hottub/pool. I would ask for a couple more if you have more guests. They were perfect for jumping out in 20 degree weather and walking back to the condo. One of the two hot tubs had a great view. The living room is small and the couch is a two seater and narrow (butt to knees) for anyone over 5' 8", so if you are hanging out with family, someone has to sit on the floor or at the tall bar style kitchen table. The building was very quiet. It is on a main road so we heard snow plows early in the am scraping the streets, often - if you are a light sleeper. The pilot light went out on the fireplace twice. We found out that this is a common occurrence although not a big deal if you know what to do. The unit stayed very warm even while the temps were -2 outside. We drove up and had blankets and pillows in the car and brought in the blankets to wrap up in on the couch after skiing. If you are someone what local, I would bring a blanket or two (in the winter). There were plenty of towels and shower essentials, you might want to see if The West can supply an extra blanket or two. All in all a great, albeit older, place.

We had a couple hiccups on arrival. The front door lock wasn't working properly, but maintenance worked on it for us. Shauna and Novliet are super gals who are helpful and friendly. The shuttle pick ups were awesome as well.
